ADVANCING THE VITALITY OF INDIANAPOLIS AND THE WELL-BEING OF ITS PEOPLE

Indianapolis is a great city with even greater potential. Working with our grantees and other key partners, we focus on addressing some of the city’s biggest challenges, with an aim toward fostering system-wide changes that positively impact the people of Indianapolis.

The Richard M. Fairbanks School of Public Health at IUPUI Bolsters Indiana’s Public Health System

Indiana consistently ranks at or near the bottom of most public health and healthy living measures. The Indiana University Richard M. Fairbanks School of Public Health at IUPUI was established in 2012 to grow the supply of trained public health professionals in Indiana, who can contribute to improving the health of Hoosiers.

Through grantmaking, research, communications and collaboration focused on three core areas, we aim to maximize our impact on Indianapolis.

We have committed more than $13 million to help Marion County schools identify, implement and sustain proven substance use prevention programs.
