Questions universitaires is an initiative of the Richard M. Fairbanks Foundation to increase college enrollment rates among Marion County high school seniors, especially among students from low-income households who are less likely than their higher-income peers to enroll. Through nearly $15 million in grants, Questions universitaires seeks to connect high school students – and their families – to the support they need during the college exploration and enrollment process, including applying for financial aid. La prévention, ça compte was a five-year grant initiative launched by the Richard M. Fairbanks Foundation in 2018 to help Marion County schools identify, implement and sustain proven substance use prevention programs. Through La prévention, ça compte, the Foundation committed more than $13.5 million to implement evidence-based prevention programs in public (traditional, charter and innovation network) and accredited private K-12 schools in Marion County.

At its conclusion, the initiative served 27 Indianapolis school districts, charter school networks and individual schools in their delivery of proven prevention programs in 159 schools, reaching more than 83,400 students annually. All programs put into practice through the La prévention, ça compte initiative have proven to be effective in preventing substance use or building skills that have been shown to prevent substance use.

CEMETS iLab Indiana is a coalition of more than 100 Indiana leaders working to develop a statewide modern youth apprenticeship system as one potential solution to the state’s mounting workforce crisis. The 10-month Implementation Lab – referred to as an iLab – is an intensive collaborative that will result in a comprehensive statewide plan to increase the number of available modern youth apprenticeships across in-demand industry sectors. The Fairbanks Foundation is funding CEMETS iLab Indiana. For more information about the initiative, please visit RMFF.org/iLab.

No, organizations cannot apply for this funding. Charitable Grants are one-time $25,000 grants to Indianapolis nonprofit organizations based on a funding theme that reflects the pressing needs in Indianapolis. Grantees are selected annually by the Fairbanks Foundation Board of Directors based upon that year’s determined funding theme.

En août 2006, l’ancien président George W. Bush a signé la loi de 2006 sur la protection des retraites.
